MANAGER
David graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in 2014.
He spent two winter co-op terms with SY&C on 2013 and 2014 learning about the profession and gaining more experience through each engagement. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience he had working for SY&C and decided to join the firm permanently in 2015.
David passed the UFE exam in December 2015 and has since received his CPA, CA designation.
Outside of work, David enjoys reading, watching movies and travelling. He frequently travels to Peru and China and hopes to one day travel across Europe and Australia.
MANAGER
Susan joined Scarrow Yurman & Co. in November 2021.
She is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario and has over thirty years of experience working in public accounting.
Susan worked with a few small CA firms in the past concentrating on personal, corporate and trust tax as well as accounting.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys taking dance classes, spending time with her family at the cottage and hopes to travel again soon.
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Kevin graduated from the University of Guelph (2015), with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Management Economics & Finance. He went on to complete supplementary accounting classes at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies in 2017 and 2018.
Kevin’s professional experience includes working as a bookkeeper at a small local accounting firm before joining the Scarrow Yurman & Co. team in November 2018. He entered the CPA’s Professional education program in the fall of 2018 and is presently working toward his attaining his CPA designation.
Kevin has spent numerous summers hiking in the Canadian Rockies and in his spare time, you can find him watching the Toronto Maple Leafs.
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Jennifer joined Scarrow Yurman & Co. in October 2018.
In 2011, she completed her Finance and Accounting Degree at Seneca College. Jennifer began her accounting career as a Bookkeeper at Rebecca Ling C.A. Professional Corporation. Thereafter, she started to expand her accounting knowledge working as Tax Technician at Norman A. Rothberg Chartered Accountants, and later as Staff Accountant at Segal LLP.
Before joining Scarrow Yurman & Co., Jennifer took three years away from the working industry to take care of her two newborns who are now in preschool.
Jennifer is looking forward to completing her two final CPA courses as she works towards her CPA designation.
BOOKKEEPER
Courtney joined Scarrow Yurman & Co. in October 2021.
She has over ten years of experience in various accounting positions such as payroll, accounts payable and bookkeeping. She is passionate about being smart with money. She plans on obtaining her CPA designation some day.
Courtney is also a travel agent and in her spare time she loves traveling.
